The Student Ministries Team at the Nicholasville campus is looking for a full time High School Guys Groups Pastor who is passionate about engaging high school students and leaders (just the guys) in effective discipleship.

Purpose Statement: Foster growth and belonging for guys in NIC Campus HS Ministry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the overall execution and implementation of High School small groups at the Nicholasville campus, with the primary focus being on guys groups, guys leaders and coaches. Responsibilities include any of the following elements:

  • Place new students into groups

  • Problem-solve as needed for any groups issues

  • Respond to crises shared within the group setting

  • Maintain group health using the Southland Students Group Strategy

• Be actively involved in the shepherding and care of volunteer leaders, including the following:

  • Be actively engaged in leader recruitment process

  • Interview and place new volunteers into leadership roles

  • Communicate regularly and invest in the spiritual and relational health of male Group Leaders

  • Promote a healthy volunteer and leader culture

• Assist in the weekly Southland Students high school programming, including set up, tear down, and in-program elements.

• Collaborate with High School Ministry Team to execute the Student Ministry strategy for High School students at the NIC Campus.

• Specializes in the area of Guest Experience or Outreach for students.

• Work with team to plan and execute special events, such as Winter Weekend, mission trips, and CIY trips.

• Assist fully in any leadership areas assigned.

Work Schedule:
40 Hours Weekly.  Monday - Friday. This position requires Wednesday evening and some Sunday responsibilities, as well as, occasional travel.
