Our Children's Ministry team in Danville is looking for a Weekend Coordinator to oversee all environments (nursery- 5th grade) during the weekend services and to provide weekday administrative support for the ministry.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Weekday:

1. Clean and set up weekend environments for Sunday.

2. Unpack and check curriculum supplies and media content for each series.

3. Follow up with any paperwork from weekend environments including attendance, incident reports and special check-out forms.

4. Assist with leader follow up including birthday cards, thank you cards, etc

5. Assist with administrative details and prep for special events.

6. Assist with Planning Center, scheduling and sending out curriculum as needed.

7. Other related duties as assigned.

Weekend:

1. Oversee Children’s Ministry environments on the Danville campus during Sunday services.

2. Doing a final check of Children’s environments to make sure they’re ready for guests.

3. Lead pre-service leader huddle, welcome leaders as they arrive and move leaders around to ensure that all rooms have adequate volunteer coverage.

4. Work with leaders to oversee the family check-in process before services.

5. Help leaders with discipline issues with children.  

6. Answer parent and leader questions.

7. Make sure attendance is taken and logged. Collect any incident reports or paperwork from the weekend for follow up on Monday.

8. Make sure the rooms are reset and organized before and after programming each weekend.

9. Communicate details from weekend to Children’s Pastor.

10. Participate in training or special events as needed.

11. Assist with Danville campus-wide initiatives as needed.
    
    The hours for this position are Sundays, 8:30-12:30ish with the remaining 6-7 hours being flexible through the work week.  If you're interested, we'd love to see your application!
