Do you know, understand, and have a passion for students? Do you thrive on building a team in a diverse/urban environment?  Our Student Ministry team is looking for high energy leader who will take our student ministry to the next level!

Primary responsibilities include:

Oversee all aspects of middle school ministry at our Lexington Campus

• Plan and execute high energy services for middle school students that will challenge them to live lives with Jesus.

• Recruit, train, and develop small group leaders who will lead and love our students and engage them in community.  

• Recruit, train, and develop adult leader team for The Hub.  (our version of Connection Point where students and parents are welcomed, student check in, and our Southland Students merch is sold)

• Create environments for Middle School Students to live on mission.

• Partner with parents to help them win at home and lead their student’s spiritual development.

• Develop relationships in the community with schools and organizations in order to build bridges into student culture.

• Attend weekly and provide assistance, where needed, in high school ministry.

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.  

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. (Extensive ministry experience, in some cases, can be substituted.)

Work Schedule:
40 hours a week, Sunday-Thursday, some evenings will be required
