Do you have the gifts of leadership and discernment? Are you comfortable on stage and feel equipped to lead Worship Leaders? The Programming Team is looking for a Worship Development Director who has excellent vocal ability and organizational skills to help carry out the vision, direction, staff and volunteers related to Worship for all campuses and large events. This person will be responsible for recruiting, developing and managing Worship Leaders.

Essential Position Responsibilities Include:

• Worship Leaders

  • Assist campus Worship & Programming Directors in identifying and recruiting Worship Leaders

  • Manage Part Time Worship Leaders

  • Provide assistance and oversight in Worship Leader scheduling of all Sunday Services at all campuses along side campus Worship & Programming Directors

  • Provide vision and manage the development process of current Worship Leaders

  • Develop and manage the Worship culture at Southland relying on the guidance of the Holy Spirit and monitoring current trends in the church and realities of Southlands context in Central Kentucky.

• Programming Central Support

  • Provide vision and oversight of Night of Worship events at all campuses.

  • Work with the Programming Team to support all ministries that have large events on campus (and off campus if applicable).

  • Work with the Programming Team to accomplish the overall vision of Sunday services

  • Other Duties as Assigned.
