Our Outreach team is looking for someone with a great passion and excitement to serve the people of Danville and carryout the strategy and vision of the team.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Carry out the vision of Outreach at the Danville Campus.

• Work with Local Initiatives Leader and/or Serve the City Leader to carry out the vision of Schools and Serve the City at the Danville campus.

• Serve the City ministry - includes organizing volunteers, working closely with Serve the City Leader, vision-casting for the local neighborhood, developing STC leadership team.

  • Plan and execute Serve the City events.

• Lead School volunteers - communicate regularly, train, oversee placement process, & ensure proper placement and ongoing support.

  • Assist in recruiting School volunteers alongside Local Initiatives Leader & volunteer coordinator.

  • Work with school contact to place mentors/tutors/classroom help.

• Coordinate outreach special events at Danville campus (i.e. Baby bottles, Christmas/Thanksgiving Outreach, Meal Packing event, etc.).

Work Schedule:

15 hours per week including leading Serve the City night and occasional weekend responsibilities.
